I am a huge white noise machine devotee! White noise machine + fan + silk eye mask + hot water bottle to keep my feet cozy = winter sleep bliss. I’m going to consider that pillow!
I am going to do a big newsletter about my perfect sleep but mine ALSO includes a silk eye mask (and a diffuser)...I have not tried the hot water bottle though I do live in Florida soooo...
Happy new year, Virginia!💕 I also loved True Detective and Chappell Roan. I really enjoy your articles, so thank you so much. You were definitely a highlight of late 2024 for me.💜
Okay I need to know how you trained yourself to back sleep! I’ve tried three times and just can’t do it. Stomach sleeper here and it’s wrecking my neck.
Okay so I started on a back sleeping pillow from Amazon (sort of a triangle looking thing — hideous but works.) I essentially slept elevated like that for about a month and then transitioned to two pillows stacked on top of one another. And I wore a black silk eye mask (and continue to) every night. Then I transitioned to the back pillow and I still will sometimes stack two pillows. It also helps to keep a pillow under your knees — it forces you to stay on your back and not flip over and helps with lower back pain.
