I strongly believe you can never have too many little bowls or boxes for matches, remotes, palo santo, etc. That lace jacket is 🤌🏻

Agree one hundred percent. I never say no to a box or a bowl

I have an excessive amount of them, but they’re a great thing to rotate out around home to make a little change. Same with candlesticks.

You have beautiful skin! I do pretty much nothing to my face, other than assiduously using SPF 15 moisturizer every day for the last 40 years and staying out of the sun. I like to tell people, "This is what not having children looks like," hee hee.

I love your lace jacket on you, but on my curvy petite frame those look like I'm playing dress-up in granny's closet.

I always check out bowls and plates in the thrift shop - I have some beautiful copper and pressed glass (Indiana Glass Company!) pieces that I use to store my jewelry in/on, or for boardgame piece.

Lovely wrap-up of beautiful things, Virginia, thank you!

Ohmygosh, I have run across so many great bowls and boxes at the thrift lately. I just found a well made vintage chinese box with brass hardware edges and clasp and a jade inlay piece on the lid. Most I leave at the thrift as I have so many boxes/bowls already. I did recently find a MCM czech glass Harrachov Harrtil reticello ashtray. Obsessed now, and just bought another one (designed for a pipe so it is oblong in shape) on ebay at a good price. I am also on the hunt for crystalline-glaze ceramics but it is really hard to find nice ones in the wild. Will never turn down a chinese presentation brocade box (I prefer them empty!) Still looking for some tramp art in the wild. As for clothes: anything well designed in linen that fits...that comes home with me.
