What does it mean to be "kind of a lot"?
One of my friends dated a guy who looked at my Instagram profile and told her, “That Virginia is …. kind of a lot.”
She told me this after she dumped him, by the way, which means he was kind of a lot, too — at least, for her. And even though I didn’t know him, and am a fervent advocate of not caring what other people think about you, it stung at first.
What does it mean to be “kind of a lot”? What am I “a lot” of?
I turned the idea over in my head, pondering what about my Instagram profile could make someone think that about me? I mostly talk about thrifting though, sure, there’s the occasional bikini photo. And sometimes I call people (men) out when they write nasty comments. Does that make me “a lot”?
