Any time I do a podcast or media interview, I get asked about the “best thing” I ever thrifted. It’s become such a standard question that I started asking it myself of tastemakers I admire.

And of coruse, I share many of my finds here, too. I’ve previously detailed other killer finds, like my $25,000+ Fornasetti x Gio Ponti desk or the gorgeous set of brass Mastercraft chairs I thrifted and later sold.

But the absolute best thing I ever found was my Goyard trunk, no doubt. it’s so beautiful and iconic and such a fun memory. And my god, I mean — it’s GOYARD. How on Earth??
